I'm just having this reflection to myself today (got my reasons, of course)... to create something is one of the most exhausting things in the world and, at the same time, one of the most natural.
So, one you "gave birth" to "that thing" (your perfume, your brand, your logo, your name...), where the limit is? How much it does belong to you? You can have all the registrations, of course, but in a big dimension... how much is it yours? It is a part of you, the most intimate you, gave into this world... but.. does it give you privileges over it?
For example, our own brand... it has the name of a song, a Prince's song. We think it is a tribute, but is it really? So, if our name is taken too, shall we get angry?
I don't think so.
Maybe what makes us feel so bad when somebody has "miraculously" an idea very very very similar to ours, is the disrespect act. If one recognize the inspiration, makes it public, give thanks for it, is it a positive circle of creation... otherwise is just a vulgar stealing act.
Personally, I'm tired of this s***, that's why I really need to get it out of me today with words.
I won't get angry because they don't worth it, but I won't pity you either... no mercy from me, I hope you got what you deserve.
If you know what I'm talking about, make your own reflection.
Oh! and no mistakes... Don't dare to mess with me... my blood is red, you will loose.
And to the creators, let's still doing what we do best... let's create!!
